Colder weather, better beers

What better way to welcome the chilly air then with the classic Samuel Smith Winter Welcome. Got it in this week, pint bottles and 4 packs. If you like the Sam Smith Nut Brown, the Winter Welcome will blow you away.

Another welcome sight, Schlafly Coffee Stout arrived today. Fantastic Brew. Oatmeal Stout mixed with St. Louis java from Kaldi's. A cold toddy method is used for extraction on the coffee to lessen bitterness. One of my winter favorites. Great with waffles on Sunday morning (so I hear).

Tommorow we will happily be welcoming Mendocino Brewing Co. beers to the shelves. Another great brewery from California. For now it looks like we will be stocking the Red Tail Ale, Eye of the Hawk Ale, White Hawk IPA, and Black Hawk Stout.

I am also expecting a new 750ml bottle from Unibroue tommorow, La Seigneuriale.

Don't forget about the Kansas City Craft Beer Festival this Saturday @ Grinders (18th and Oak). 1-5pm. See you out there.
